Wednesday 13 Releases New Song, May Not Understand How Time Works

There’s a lyric fairly early on in the new Wednesday 13 single, “Decompose,” in which Mr. 13 sings, “There’s no tomorrow/ Just pain and suffering for all eternity.” Which implies that “eternity” does not actually consist of “days” as we understand them. Now, it’s possible that the song is meant to “take place,” as it were, on some planet where days are far longer than they are here on Earth (that’s a thing, right?). It’s also possible Wednesday 13 is speaking metaphysically I suppose; perhaps in some sort of afterlife, as imagined by the former Murderdolls frontman, time is irrelevant. Or maybe he’s speaking metaphorically — as in, “Time loses meaning when you’re suffering.”

But if I were going to place a bet, I’d say that what actually happened here is that I have put more thought into this lyric than Weddy ever did.
