Video: Killswitch Engage Watch ’90s Hip Hop Videos
Few things have the ability to age as poorly as music videos, which are usually reflective of whatever lame shit people thought was cool at the time. And few music videos have the ability to age as poorly as hip hop videos in the early/mid-’90s, when the relatively young genre of music hadn’t quite become the cultural juggernaut it would just a few years later thanks to dudes like Dre and Biggie and Tupac.
The point is, there’s a lot of room to have fun being a wiseass while watching hip hop videos from this era. And metal may have no asses more wiser than Killswitch Engage’s Adam D. and Jesse Leach.
This being the case, we recently trapped Adam and Jesse in the MetalSucks Mansion and made them watch and comment on ’90s music videos by artists like Public Enemy, 2 Live Crew, Sir Mix-a-Lot, MC Hammer, and more. Needless to say, the results are highly entertaining. Watch ’em below!
For more fun with Adam and Jesse, be sure to check out our video of the duo watching KSE fan covers on YouTube. Killswitch Engage release a new album, Atonement, on August 16 via Metal Blade Records. Pre-order it here. The band kicks off a tour with Clutch on July 10; dates are here!
