Slayer Release New Video Tease… but What’s It For?

Well, this is intriguing.

Slayer have released a new video, entitled “Coming Fall 2019 – Part 2.” A press release from the band’s label, meanwhile, contains only the text “A New Hard Rock/Thrash Metal Clue.”

The short clip features both beloved character actor Danny Trejo and Orange is the New Black star/Alekhine’s Gun vocalist Jessica Pimental. But it’s not clear what it’s teasing.

The band released the first “Coming Fall 2019” teaser video a couple of weeks back; when their last-ever tour was announced shortly thereafter, we assumed that the trek was the only thing at which the video had been hinting. But the fact that they’ve released this second video, and are being so mysterious about it, makes me think they have another trick up their sleeve. I’m sure some fans are hoping for a final album, which feels like a stretch, but… maybe a new music video or short film or something like that?
