Hailey Bieber Calls Tool’s Maynard James Keenan “Childish” and “Sad”
Well, here’s a sentence I never expected to type:
Hailey Bieber, wife of pop star Justin Bieber, has come to her husband’s defense against Tool singer Maynard James Keenan.
El Bieberino, you may recall, revealed himself to be a Tool fan last week when he posted lyrics from “The Pot” on social media. Maynard, in turn, called The Biebs’ fandom a “bummer.”
Thing is, before she was a Bieber, Hailey was a Baldwin, which means she’s not exactly a shrinking violet. So yesterday, she took to Twitter to get her husband’s back and chide Maynard:
“He expressed he was a fan of your music. Grew up listening to your music. You must be unhappy with yourself that you want to make people feel small who express their admiration for you. Very childish and hurtful thing to do. I hope u find security within yourself. Sad place to be”
Presumably Hailey then consoled Justin by reassuring him that the other kids are all just jealous of how handsome he is.
As of this writing, neither Maynard nor his spouse, Lei Li, have responded to the future ex-Mrs. Bieber. Not that there’s anything he could say that could possibly be as entertaining as reading the flame war that broke out in the comments beneath Hailey’s statement. Somehow, even Selena Gomez fans ended up getting involved, and it all culminated in a young woman posting a video rant that is just, mwah, magnificent!
