Listen to The Number Twelve Looks Like You’s First New Song in a Decade
The Number Twelve Looks Like You started reuniting for shows a few years back, and by all accounts, those shows went spectacularly well. This being the case, it’s not surprising — if still exciting! — that the New Jersey mathcore masters have now made a new album, Wild Gods. Set for release on September 20th via Overlord Music, Wild Gods will be will be The Number Twelve Looks Like You’s first new offering since 2009’s Worse Than Alone.
Is it weird that I want them to make figurines of the dude on the cover? He reminds me of my uncle.
ANYWAY, the band has also released “Ruin the Smile,” the first single from Wild Gods, which is about as triumphant a return for TNTLLY as one could possibly hope for. As a bonus, it arrives with one of the more interesting lyric videos you’ll ever see.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, the band has ALSO announced new tour dates in support of Wild Gods! The band’s shows have always been bonkers, so expect a good time.
