It’s been more than two months since we last heard anything about former Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn, and I don’t know about you guys, but in that time I completely forgot about him. And I’ve been writing a Slipknot retrospective.

But we didn’t just dream Fehn! He’s a really real person. And now we have a really real update on his really real lawsuit against his really real former bandmates.

The Blast has obtained court documents in which “Fehn is requesting a judge deny the motion to dismiss brought by Slipknot’s business manager Robert Shore, which sought to have his case thrown out.” He is also “demanding [his suit against the band] move forward ASAP.”

Shore, one of Slipknot’s business managers, had previously filed papers claiming that “Mr. Fehn performed with Slipknot and received a fee for doing so. He is not a shareholder, owner or member of any business entity he names as a defendant in this action.”

Fehn, of course, was fired from the band after first filing his lawsuit in March. In the suit, Fehn claims that Corey Taylor, Shawn “Clown” Crahan, and Shore “have set up several other Slipknot affiliated business entities in different states that appear to be collecting money from the band.” He is seeking “a full forensic accounting done on Slipknot’s companies and assets, and to collect the damages and profits he believes he’s owed.”

Fehn has since been replaced by a mystery member who is now heavily rumored to be Momo. We’ll let you know as soon as we have confirmation on that.
