The Ghost of Wayne Static Has a Twitter Account Now
Allow me to begin by apologizing to all those who might be offended by the contents of this article. I am SO SORRY that your parents didn’t instill you with a sense of humor.
For everyone else: the Ghost of Wayne Static has a Twitter account now, and it… is… hilarious.
The account squarely takes aim at the current Static-X reunion, with its bio stating that it’s “not affiliated with Static-X, but neither is the current touring band.” That touring band, in case you forgot, reunites original Wisconsin Death Trip members Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukada (guitar), and Ken Jay (drums), and subs in a creepy AF Wayne Static cosplayer calling himself ‘Xer0’ (probably Dope’s Edsel Dope) in place of the late frontman. So the band basically teed this up real nice for the creator of the account.

The band tried to defend themselves, which was a mistake, because all they’re doing is calling attention to the account. Also, because their attempted comeback didn’t really land:
