As I was prepping myself to write an intro for this piece in which I lamented the lack of great releases so far in 2019, I looked down at the running list I keep on my phone so I don’t forget as the days tick by and, sure enough, there were a ton of top-notch albums I’d scribbled down. Time just has a way both creeping by and zooming past all at once making everything a blur, doesn’t it?
