Listen to Beheaded’s Only Death Can Save You, One of the Strongest Death Metal Albums of 2019 so Far
To date, my favorite new-discovery-that-isn’t-new-at-all of 2019 is Beheaded. Tomorrow sees the release of Only Death Can Save You, the Malta death metal band’s sixth full-length, but I really only got hip them back in April, when they dropped the first single from Death, “A Greater Terror.” And then I was like, “To the promo cave Robin, we haven’t a moment to lose!”, ’cause I wanted to hear the rest of the record and make sure “Terror” wasn’t a fluke.
And it wasn’t! This album fucking rules. Nothing fancy going on here — just some good, old fashioned, well-written, well-executed, completely pulverizing death metal. Each 2,292 seconds of Only Death Can Save You is a blast. I cannot implore you enough to give a listen.
