Video: Metallica Perform “Seek & Destroy” with 13-Year-Old Drummer in Amsterdam

True story: metal was the theme for my bar mitzvah party, and each table was named after a band — e.g., you weren’t seated at ‘Table Six,’ you were seated at ‘Metallica.’ And there was a Metallica table. I thought it was a pretty darn cool way to celebrate turning thirteen.

Not nearly as cool as the way Evan Adams celebrated turning 13, though — ’cause he got invited up on stage during Metallica’s show at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, Netherlands to handle drum duties for “Seek & Destroy.” Which is. Y’know. Light years cooler than having a Metallica table at your bar mitzvah.
