Demon Hunter Announce “An Evening With” Summer Tour
Demon Hunter, who against all odds have glided past In Flames on the melodeath depth charts, will trot out a 20-song set for a series of special shows this summer, promising “an epic mixture of fan favorite anthems and deep cuts that have never been performed live.” The shows are being billed as “an evening with” which typically means two sets and no opening acts.
Says vocalist Ryan Clark:
“We’re building a show that’s unlike anything we’ve done before. We’ll have video installations, created specifically for this tour, during set changes. We are planning the biggest lighting/staging production we’ve ever done, surpassing even the Stronger Than Hell tour we did back in the day.”
Sounds cool! Maybe it’s just the excuse I need to finally see the band live since apparently I like them now. Except, shucks, it’s only 10 dates, all of which are out West. D’oh! Maybe they’ll announce more soon.
