Periphery Announce Fall 2019 North American Tour with Veil of Maya and Covet
Periphery have announced a fall 2019 North American tour. They’ll be bringing along their longtime friends Veil of Maya — I feel like those two bands have probably toured together a zillion times at this point — as well as rising instrumental trio Covet.
Sez Periphery axeman Jack Bowen:
“We’re very pleased to announce that Periphery is heading out with Veil of Maya and Covet this September! We’ve been fans and friends of these bands for a long time so it’s a real treat for us to go out again together and play for you all. We’ll also be playing a bunch of new material from Periphery IV: HAIL STAN and bringing back some oldies! WE’VE COME FOR TOUR!”
It’s interesting that this tour starts on the East Coast and ends on the West — just a one-way ticket that doesn’t touch the southern U.S. at all and skips a lot of major markets. Makes me wonder if there’s a second leg planned or whether the band has something else in the works for those areas that can’t be announced yet for one reason or another. We’ll find out soon enough.
