Reunited Misfits Announce Two New September Shows

The reunited Misfits, featuring both Glenn “Just Cleaning Up My Motherfucking Bricks, Bitch” Danzig and Jerry Only, are going to have a relatively busy year. In addition to their June 29 show in Los Angeles, the group has just announced two more gigs: one on September 7 at at the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver, and one on September 14 at White River Amphitheatre in Seattle. Support at both concerts will come from The Distillers, The Damned, and the version of Cro-Mags that has Harley Flanagan.

As was the case when the L.A. show was announced, guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein is not listed on the admat. It’s not clear if that means he’s not participating. We asked his reps back when the L.A. show was announced and he never got back to us, so your guess is as good as ours.

In any case, I was lucky enough to catch these dudes last year when they played in New Jersey, and they were fucking great despite the fact that Danzig made it about ten seconds into the first song before becoming winded and looking like he might have a heart attack. So if you can go to one of these gigs, I highly recommend it.

Ticket pre-sales begin on May 15 at 10 a.m. local time, with the general public sale beginning on May 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
