Finally, Someone Mashed-Up Slipknot and the B-52s

Speaking of shit you wouldn’t expect: the latest mash-up from Bill McClintock — he of Slayer/Edwin Starr and Ratt/Marvin Gaye fame — puts Slipknot’s “Before I Forget” together with the B52s’ “Love Shack.” As is always the case with Mr. McClintock’s work, the results work surprisingly well. Funny enough, Keith Strickland, the guitarist and least-famous member of the B-52s, no longer tours with that band. Now that Jim Root isn’t in Stone Sour anymore, maybe there’s a love connection to be made here? They could re-brand themselves as the B-666s, right?
