Tour Dates: Sevendust, Skillet, Pop Evil, Devour the Day

Sevendust have always straddled the line between metal and hard rock. All over the general rock spectrum, really; shit, they toured with Clutch last fall! Their recently announced touring endeavor falls firmly on the radio rock side, a co-headliner with Skillet with Pop Evil and Devour the Day opening. While three out of four of those bands aren’t my thing, I loves me some Sevendust and would absolutely go see them headline… if only this tour were coming to New York! Sigh. I’ll just have to wait ’til next time (with a lineup that’s more my steez).

As an aside, I hadn’t heard of Devour the Day until now, so I decided to check them out… and yeesh, do they owe Sevendust a serious debt of gratitude or what? Embedded underneath the tour dates along with clips from all the bands.
