Rammstein’s New Album Art May Not Set the World on Fire
We’re just about a month away from the release of Rammstein, the latest album from Rammstein! (Which makes sense. It would be weird if it was the new album from Amon Amarth or something.) If they were band no one had heard of before, we’d probably be on, like, the third single by now. But they’ve only released one single to date — “Deutschland” (which arrived complete with a controversial music video). And hey, I get it. Rammstein are huge. They don’t need to release a lot of material in advance to sell records. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make the wait any easier for us fans.
Our appetites for new Rammstein were sated earlier this week, if only a bit, by samples of two new songs, “Radio” and “Zeig Dich.” Now the band has released samples from all the songs on the record, which you can check out below. It’s not much, but if you’re just desperate for Rammstein to drop, here, hopefully this will tide you over:
Someone both more and less satisfying is the unveiling of the album’s cover art, which, uh… well, here see for yourself:
Neat.
Maybe there’s more to it. Maybe special editions have super-cool cover art that changes into a lit match under particular circumstances, like The Atlas Moth’s Old Believer. But that’s probably wishful thinking.
Ah, whatever. New Rammstein in just one month! Whoo-hoo!
