This Mash-Up of Slayer’s “South of Heaven” and Edwin Starr’s “War” Is Most Excellent
The only problem with Edwin Starr’s classic, “War,” is that it’s too goddamn upbeat to really function as any kind of condemnation of its titular subject. Bill McClintock‘s latest mash-up fixes that by breeding the Starr anthem with Slayer’s “South of Heaven.” Suddenly, Starr doesn’t sound so upbeat!
