Video Premiere: Truth Corroded, “Of Open Eyes and Willing Hands” (feat. Misery Index Guitarist Mark Kloeppel)

Australian death metal act Truth Corroded are out on the road in Europe alongside Misery Index right now (along with Wormrot and The Lion’s Daughter), so what better time to release their new video — featuring an assist from their tourmate, Mark Kloppel of Misery Index — than the present?

As with the band’s previous video clip for “Victims Left Lepers,” Truth Corroded once again worked with videographer David Hall to present a strong political message. “The song confronts militarism, patriotism and idealism. It targets the picture presented against the devastating reality of cost, and David has once again presented a nightmarish depiction of the subject matter” offers bassist/vocalist Greg Shaw. Musically, the song offers a crushing blast of groovy death metal brutality, the perfect match for its abrasive subject matter.
