Nine Inch Nails and Marvel Release Limited Edition Captain Marvel Shirt
Unless you’ve somehow managed to escape the onslaught of the Disney marketing machine, you are likely aware that today sees the release of Captain Marvel, the first of three Marvel movies set to hit theaters before the end of the summer. Notably, the movie is set in 1995 and reportedly has the soundtrack to match. In fact, pre-release promo photos have shown that the title character, played by Brie Larson, spends at least part of the film rocking some Nine Inch Nails merch. (Funny enough, today also marks the 25th anniversary of the release of The Downward Spiral!)
This being the case, Marvel and Nine Inch Nails have decided to team up to produce a limited edition shirt that combines the band’s logo with that of Captain Marvel herself:
The shirts are $25, which is actually pretty reasonable given what companies usually charge for this kinda merch. You can order yourself one here. Or, for five to fifteen bucks less, you can buy one of MetalSucks’ two glorious Marvel-themed shirts, “Hulk Mosh” and “Low-Key.” Just a thought.
