East of the Wall Share New Song and Video “Clapping on the Ones and Threes”
Long-time MetalSucks favorites East of the Wall have released a new song called “Clapping on the Ones and Threes” and a nifty video to match.
Kerrang! sums up East of the Wall’s sound perfectly, so I’ll just leave this right here for those unfamiliar:
“The Keyport, New Jersey, quintet have always been known for taking groaning, heavyweight riffs and percussion and mixing them with long-form experimentation and moments of resonating serenity. As such, their music connects with the listener’s emotions, but in an honest and nuance way devoid of sappy cliche or self-indulgence.”
The video clip combines live action shots of the band with footage from the animated CGI movie Elephants Dream, an open-source movie created by people around the world in 2006 and released under creative commons.
East of the Wall’s new album NP-Complete comes out on March 29 via Translation Loss; pre-order it here. Another song from the album called “Fast-Bang Pooper Doop” is available here.
