Venom Prison Release Upcoming Album Details and Video for Single “Uterine Industrialisation”

Venom Prison have given us a taste of their upcoming album Samsara, named for the Buddhist concept of being reborn into cyclical suffering, with a hypnotizing video for the first single, “Uterine Industrialisation.”

When I discover a death metal band that can deliver dark and dirty lyrics while touching upon what is wrong in our society today (much like Cattle Decapitation) I’m all there for it. The video tells the story of a forced surrogacy and conveys all the raw emotion and bloody imagery that you can expect from this kind of death metal band touching such a topic. With some of the tracks on the new album entitled “Self Inflicted Violence” and “Matriphagy,” we can expect a gripping album laden with aggressive and biting lyrics. I really regret having missed Venom Prison at the Devastation on the Nation Tour last year.

The album, which features artwork from Eliran Kantor (he handled artwork for Soulfly and Hate Eternal’s new albums, among dozens of classics you know and love), is set for release on March 15th via Prosthetic Records, and can be pre-ordered here.
