The 61st Grammy Awards are underway. As usual, metal has been relegated to the sidelines: the Best Metal Performance award won’t be featured on the nationwide TV broadcast this evening, but is part of the pre-ceremony broadcast which can be streamed online between 3:30pm EST / 12:30pm PST and 6:30pm EST / 3:30pm EST.

Between the Buried and Me, Deafheaven, High on Fire, Trivium and Underoath are up for the Best Metal Performance Grammy. We’re unsure exactly what time that award will air, but you can stream the pre-ceremony below or at Grammy.com.
