Ozzy Osbourne Celebrates the Birthday of Biting a Bat’s Head Off with New Plush Toy

Say what you will about Ozzy Osbourne — you can’t accuse the dude of failing to have a sense of humor about himself.

Yesterday — Sunday, January 20, 2019 (durrr) — marked the 37th anniversary of the infamous Ozzy bat-biting incident of 1982 (I’m not going to bother to recount the story here — if you don’t know it, I don’t know why you’re reading MetalSucks), and to celebrate, The Ozzman has released these 12″ plush bats… complete with detachable heads:

Cute, right? You’re not the only who thought so — the first batch of bats is already sold out! Pre-orders for the next round are currently being taken here. The bat costs $40, which I actually think is reasonable — that’s how much they were charging for shirts at Ozzy’s farewell tour last year, and this is wwwwaaayyy cooler than those were.
