That’s it.

By contrast, last year’s Coachella included A Perfect Circle, Portugal the Man, X Japan (with a special guest appearance by Marilyn Manson), The Bronx, Greta Van Fleet and Carpenter Brut, although the 2017 incarnation of the festival ghosted metal entirely. Guns N’ Roses headlined in 2016. At the Drive-In and Refused appeared in 2012 while Faith No More played in 2010. Maybe it’s an every-other-year kind of thing for distorted guitar music at Coachella.

If I were attending this year I’d check out Childish Gambino, Janelle Monae, Aphex Twin, Weezer, Zedd, Chvrches, Perfume and whatever else I might stumble upon (random new finds are the biggest appeal for me at festivals like Coachella). But that’s just me.
