Tobias Forge Wants to Make a Ghost-Branded Pinball Machine
Ready to get needlessly excited about something that isn’t even close to existing yet and that you won’t be able to afford anyway?
Good! Because Ghost frontman/leader Tobias Forge said in a recent interview that he’s thinking about fixing to debate discussing the idea of possibly making a Ghost-themed pinball machine. Actually, all he said is that it’s something he’d love to do someday.
But the clicks! MetalSucks desperately needs them! And this is precisely the kind of silly stuff you all like to read most. And so, here’s the quote, which came when Philadelphia’s 93.3 WMMR radio station asked Forge what his biggest wish is at the moment:
“I love pinball. And from the amount of characters that we have, that’s a little bit more my focus right now. Just knowing that I wanna make a pinball machine with finally enough fodder to make that now… It’s a long way to the top if you wanna have a pinball machine.”
The kicker? Forge doesn’t own a single pinball machine… yet! But obtaining one is on “a long purchase list of things that I want in my so-called ‘man cave.’”” Same, buddy.
An eventual Ghost pinball machine would join the likes of Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Metallica, among others, as notable metal artists with their own machines. And Slayer, if iPhone games count.
Ghost are finishing up their North American tour right now; remaining dates here.
