Listen: A Perfect Circle Cover AC/DC’s “Dog Eat Dog”

A Perfect Circle’s offering for this Record Store Day/Black Friday will be a limited edition 7″ featuring the song “So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish,” from this year’s Eat the Elephant, and a cover of AC/DC’s “Dog Eat Dog,” which is now available for your streaming pleasure below.

AC/DC and APC might seem like somewhat odd bedfellows, yet the cover isn’t nearly so radical a reinvention as, say, the band’s version of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” Still, it was wise of guitarist Billy Howerdel to put his own spin on Angus Young’s solo; trying to duplicate the work of a guitarist as revered as Young would surely be a fool’s errand.
