Godmaker + Somnuri’s New Split: Not Donald J. Trump Approved

Brooklyn sludge/doom trios Godmaker and Somnuri have just gone halfsies on a new record. In a very official statement pulled straight from Somnuri’s Facebook page, the President of the United States expressed his disdain for the apparent pile of trash:

Ha! Nerds. They clearly don’t even know how to suck us in to suspenseful soundscapes or make music that’s worth listening to. Aside from the mind-numbingly boring original songs that display no creative direction whatsoever, the split also features a cover of Portishead’s “Over” that’s laughable, at best.

Don’t bother listening to this album. It sucks, Donald Trump said so! Pretty sure Corey Taylor thinks so, too. It’s out now, so make sure to avoid the full stream below, and also steer clear of making any purchases here.
