Watch Video of the Isis Reunion at Caleb Scofield (Cave In) Tribute Show in L.A.

The surviving members of Cave In held a very special tribute show in Boston this past June for their brother Caleb Scofield, who died in a car crash in April, leaving behind his wife and two kids. I made the trip up from New York and it was an incredibly emotional evening; the energy, love and mourning in the room was palpable throughout the night. The Austerity Program’s Justin Foley wrote a heartfelt review of the show for us.

West Coast lovers of all things Caleb (Old Man Gloom and Zozobra included) got to pay their respects this past Saturday night (October 13th) at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, with proceeds from the event (including an auction of donated gear and memorabilia) benefitting Caleb’s family. As an added bonus, fans were treated to a five-song set by Isis (performing under the Celestial moniker), who disbanded in 2010. Pelican and Old Man Gloom rounded out the star-studded bill, and you can watch footage of the entire night below. Wishing I could’ve attended this one, but grateful to have attended in Boston.
