Limp Bizkit’s DJ Lethal Calls Insane Clown Posse’s Shaggy 2 Dope a “Bitchmade G Fuck” and “Bitch Ass Clout Chaser”
Although it has less than nothing to do with anyone’s actual music (in fact, all parties involved are severely lacking in talent), the most entertaining story of October thus far has been, by far, what shall heretofore be known as The Great Drop Kick Drama of 2018.
For those who need catching up: this past weekend, Limp Bizkit and Insane Clown Posse both performed at the Rock Allegiance festival in Camden, NJ. At some point during Limp Bizkit’s set, ICP’s Shaggy 2 Dope (né Joseph William Utsler) ran out on stage and attempted to drop kick Bizkit frontman Fred Durst in the back of the head. Although some thought the attack might actually have been a joke gone awry, Mr. 2 Dope was aggressively dragged from the stage by security, and Durst didn’t seem all that interested in helping out; sources tell us that Shaggy was eventually arrested, too. Only adding fuel to the fire is this video, apparently filmed moments before Shaggy ran out on stage, in which the clown/rapper announces his intention to drop kick Durst:
Now, in case there was still any doubt that this was not just two band dudes goofing around, The PRP has now captured social media screenshots of Limp Bizkit’s DJ Lethal talking serious shit on Shaggy after the show.
The gist of Lethal’s predictably illiterate posts is that Shaggy was basically just attacking Durst to get press attention. If we assume Lethal is correct, we have to wonder why he wrote these messages, which he must have known would only give Shaggy more press attention. Regardless, if it’s press attention Shaggy wanted, mission accomplished.
I hereby propose the following resolution to this conflict: a battle of the bands. Each group plays for ten minutes, and then a panel of judges votes. The loser is never allowed to make music again, and the winner is never allowed to make music again. This way, we ALL win, see?
