High on Fire Premiere New Song “Spewn from the Earth”

Me telling you that the new High on Fire song kicks ass would be like me telling you that the sun came up this morning. Even your average MetalSucks commenter is smart enough to be like “Yeah no shit Sherlock.”

So instead I’d like to compliment High on Fire and their label, eOne, for having balls: “Spewn from the Earth,” from the band’s forthcoming Electric Messiah, is only the second song to be released from the record… and is also the last song which will be released from the record in advance of its release this Friday, October 5. Now, in the old days, only debuting one or two songs in advance of an album release was standard. But these days, it feels like we hear half the album months in advance. Such is not the case for HoF.

Like I said: they’ve got balls.
