Video: Florida Man / Slayer Fan Shows Hurricane Florence Who’s Boss

Florida man Lane Pittman achieved viral fame a couple of years back when he posted a video clip of himself waving the American flag to Slayer’s “Raining Blood” against the howling winds and torrential rains of Hurricane Matthew, a brazen act that checks all the boxes for patriotism, metal fandom and complete idiocy.

For Pittman, it appears viral lighting strikes twice (or hurricanes do, anyway), as he headed out into the onslaught of Hurricane Florence this weekend after successfully crowdfunding some money to pay for his gas and food to make it up to Myrtle Beach, SC (“Pay for my gas/coffee and I’ll go fight Hurricane Florence. MERICA BABY!!! We stick together.”)

Pittman posted his own video, a whopping 12 seconds (would more even really be needed?), and a Fox news reporter was on hand at the scene to capture some of her own as well (without the Slayer soundtrack). You can check out both below. In the words of a very great man, MERICA BABY!!!
