Ozzy Osbourne on the Black Sabbath Reunion: “I Was Getting Bad Vibes” from Bandmates
As we all know, massive, long-defunct bands only reunite once their members have truly resolved their differences, rekindled their friendships, recaptured the feeling of being teenagers jamming in the garage again, and earnestly have a burning creative desire to work with one another again.
So it is shocking — SHOCKING!, I say — to hear that Ozzy Osbourne maybe didn’t enjoy every second of the recent Black Sabbath reunion and farewell tour.
Says The Ozzman of the reunion to The Philadelphia Inquirer:
“I didn’t have a great time. I spent nine or 10 years in Sabbath, but I’d been away from them for over 30 years. With them, I’m just a singer. With me, I get to do what I want to do. I was getting bad vibes from them for being Ozzy. I don’t know, what the fuck else can I be?”
Wow. My mind is blown and my heart is broken. I mean, what’s next? Someone is gonna claim that David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen aren’t really BFFs?!?
Oh well. I bet Bill Ward feels a little better at least.
