Synthwave Pioneer Dan Terminus is Touring the U.S. This Month!
Dan Terminus was one of the first synthwave acts I got into hard; his 2015 release The Wrath of Code is a genre classic as far as I’m concerned. It’s aggressive, it’s tight, the arrangements are lush, the synth tones perfect, the melodies on point… it’s all aces.
Terminus returned late last year with Automated Refrains, and now he’s taking his show on the road to the U.S. for, I believe, the first time (but correct me if I’m wrong). This is big news for us fans of dark synthwave; while GosT, Carpenter Brut and Perturbator have toured the U.S. extensively in that time frame, we’ve not yet had a chance to catch Terminus live. Very exciting! As Terminus is a one-man show unencumbered by the need to haul heavy gear around the country, it appears he’ll be flying from city to city to cover several major markets. Make sure you don’t miss this.
