Adult Swim’s 2018 Singles Program Will Feature High on Fire, Pig Destroyer, Inter Arma and More

Adult Swim has a history of supporting metal on their annual Singles Program compilation — eight years to be exact — with recent iterations of the series featuring tracks by Krallice, Myrkur, Pallbearer and Power Trip, among many others.

The 2018 Singles Program comp will again highlight metal amongst electronic, indie, pop and more, with High on Fire, Pig Destroyer, Integirty, Inter Arma, Oathbreaker and Noisem amongst the initial wave of bands announced for the series. One track will be released each week, all 52 weeks of the year, with more bands set to be announced soon. Here’s the first wave of bands to be announced for the eight annual / 2018 (running into 2019) comp:

That’s quite an exciting list, and I’m certainly looking forward to hearing new tracks by some of the non-metal artists, too: Autechre, Dawn and Com Truise catch my eye on first glance. The first track to be released comes from Father (with Lil Housephone), titled “Fashionista,” and can be streamed right here (where all future tracks will be available) or below.

The Adult Swim Festival will take place in Los Angeles on October 5th-7th with Run the Jewels and Mastodon headlining. High on Fire, Code Orange and Power Trip will appeal to fans of the heavy. More info here.
