Video: Members of Hatebreed, Fear Factory, Crowbar and Light the Torch Ride Bumper Cars at Bloodstock

I’d imagine that festivals are something of a mixed bag for the musicians who play them. On the one hand, playing for a massive audience several times larger than your band’s usual shows, outdoors and on a huge stage, must be SUCH a fucking thrill. On the other hand it’s kinda just another gig amidst many, and I don’t get the impression that most band members HANG OUT at the festival with the layfolk and take advantage of all the amenities.

Not so for Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed), Dino Cazares (Fear Factory), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar) and Howard Jones (Light the Torch), who stopped by the festival’s bumper car rink (in the U.K. apparently they’re called “Dodgems”) for some good old fashioned carnival fun times. All you’ll really need of this video is about one minute to get the gist — lots of HIGH IMPACT COLLISIONS! BOOM! POW! — I just think it’s awesome that all these guys got together in one place to unwind a bit from the rigors of the road.
