Otep Calls Out The NRA As a Terrorist Organization In The “Shelter In Place” Video

Otep Shamaya and her band are not scared of expressing their political beliefs. Shamaya has said that she thinks Donald Trump makes “a mockery of our country”, going so far as to hang the treasonous game show host in the lyric video her recent track “To The Gallows.”

Now, Otep has set her sights on the NRA. In the new video for her song “Shelter In Place”, Otep calls out the noted death cult as a terrorist organization that has become apathetic to the murder of children in our country. And in her signature style, Otep does not express this concept through veiled references or interpretable metaphors, she spits it right in the listener’s face.

The song might not be my favorite, but the message is one that thousands of Americans feel every time Dana Loesch makes excuses for an organization that seeks to arm toddlers and keep automatic weapons in the hands of felons and the mentally ill.
