MetalSucks has been at the center of a number of controversies in the black metal community (and beyond) over the past couple of years, to put it lightly. How do we decide which stories to cover? What is our investigative process for doing so? How did recent stories involving Watain, Taake, Inquisition and more come about? What do we think of groups like antifa?

These are just a few of the topics I talked about with Tombs mastermind Mike Hill, who invited me onto his Everything Went Black podcast for an in-depth chat last week. We also talk a bit about my background, the very early days of MetalSucks, how the site has changed over time, my personal history with black metal and more.
