Hear Bosse-De-Nage Be Brief on New Song “Crux”
The press release announcing Bosse-de-Nage’s new record, Further Still, asserts that “this new album marks a bold diversion from Bosse-de-Nage’s typically sprawling arrangements in favor of airtight, propulsive song structures.” If that sentence makes your Sellout-Sense sound the alarms, just take a deep breath and chill out. Having listened to Further Still‘s lead single, “Crux,” I can happily report that “airtight, propulsive song structures” is just writer-speak for “shorter.” In other words, Bosse-de-Nage are still the atmospheric post-black metal band you know and love, only with a newfound appreciation for brevity being the soul of wit and all that. Phew!
Check out “Crux” below. Further Still will be released via The Flenser on September 14. Preorders are available here.
