In a world that’s overrun with copycat instrumental prog acts, it’s refreshing to find a performance that stands out from the crowd. Plini is one of the few innovative enough to make the cut, and over the last few years his commitment to delivering tasty grooves and happy vibes has earned him a spot as one of the best prog guitarists in the world.
His latest single, “Kind,” from the upcoming new record Sunhead, is bursting with the lush, uplifting shredding that is so distinctly Plini. Between the sunshine and rainbows are finga tappin’ grooves and moments of gravity — including (gasp) blastbeats! Whoooooaaaaaa.
