Where to Even Begin with This ICP Furry Video…
Sometimes, when life is hard and you feel like you’ve had enough, the gods smile upon you. They reach down and toss you a little gift, to remind you that no matter how difficult things seem, there is still some poetry in the universe.
Case in point: the ICP Snakebusters video.
There’s a lot to unpack here, so you might just want to watch the video below, but here’s the gist: Violent J and his daughter Ruby, a furry who apparently wears a werewolf costume (that looks oddly moose-ish), have created a video where they “bust snakes.” Not literal snakes, but liars and thieves who trick people on the Internet. The snakes in question? A company named OISK, who sold Ruby what appears to be a normal furry suit but was not the one she wanted, and for which J was thusly fleeced for $750.
I swear to God, I didn’t make any of this up. Here, just watch:
Wow. Just… wow.
I’m the resident juggalo at MetalSucks Mansion, so I’m always ready and willing to go to bat for both ICP and their fans. Hell, I even wrote an editorial back in the day about how considering juggalos gang members is super fucked up… and even I can’t get behind this. It’s very sweet that J made this video supporting and defending his daughter–if I spent $750 of my dad’s money, the only thing that got busted would’ve been my skull–but Jesus Christ on a moped, how embarrassing can you get? Why not just do the Facebook post without making it a “busters” style video? WHY DID THEY MAKE THIS?
Ah, well–that’s family for you! Here’s hoping Ruby never becomes a lawyer and has to blush through this every time her coworkers get drunk at a holiday party.
