MetalSucks recently debuted the song “Shed” by Coarse, a new project featuring Brandon Gallagher (ex-Old Wounds, drums/vocals/programming) and Ryan Knowles (ex-Capsize, guitars/vocals/programming). We’ll assume you listened to it, because it premiered here. And we assume you loved it, because it’s fucking awesome.

So you’ll be pleased to learn that the bicoastal duo have now unveiled another track, “In Peril,” via Metal Injection. It’s every bit as fierce and unforgiving as “Shed.” So skip at your own… y’know.

Coarse are now taking pre-orders for their six-song 7″ EP, which will be released via Zegema Beach Records. That label’s name is a Starship Troopers reference, y’all, and the EP costs all of five bucks. I’m saying you have every reason in the world to buy it.
