Video: Megadeth Jam with the Dude Who Played Hodor on Game of Thrones

Both of the actors who have played Hodor on Game of Thrones — one as a child, the other as an adult — now officially have ties to the metal world. Why is that, do you think? What is it about playing a sweet-natured, well-hung, monosyllabic oaf that… oh wait never mind I think I just answered my own question.

ANYWAY, Sam Coleman, who played Hodor as a young ‘un, will be in the upcoming Lords of Chaos movie as Slayer Magazine founder Jon “Metalion” Kristiansen, and now we’ve got video of actor (and DJ!) Kristian Nairn having “a massive bucket list item checked off” by rocking out with Megadeth. Nairn seems so stoked about it, in fact, that we don’t have the heart to tell about Dave Mustaine’s history of Hodorphobic comments, like when, speaking about the GoT episode “The Door,” he “praised” Hodor for “plugging it up.” That guy is such a jerk.
