Lemmy Made a Vampire Movie
You can forgive yourself if you forgot all about Sunset Society, the vampire film featuring the late, great Lemmy Kilmister. I wrote about it less than a year ago, and I didn’t know I wrote about it less than I year ago until I searched it on the site thirty seconds ago.
Thing is, I think the initial announcement failed to make an impression because it wasn’t clear just how big a role Lemmy plays in the flick. Nor do I recall said announcement including the information that in addition to Lemmy, the movie stars Ron Jeremy, Steve-O, plus a member of Guns N’ Roses (Dizzy Reed) and a member of L.A. Guns (Tracii Guns).
But Lemmy is the primary focus of the movie’s new poster…
…and a press release makes it sound like he’s one of the leads:
“The film follows Ace (Lemmy), the head vampire in charge of a secret organization in Hollywood where parties are held, musicians gather and blood flows freely! However, due to a few rebels in his midst, humans are starting to catch on to his vampire ways. In an attempt to keep a lid on his organization, Ace enlists the help of Frankie (Ron Jeremy), Sophia (Phoebe Dollar), and Mr. Cross (Robert Donavan) to stop the leak of information. Everyone is now in danger as passions get out of control, bodies are invaded and loyalties are put to the limit.”
Unfortunately the trailer is… ahem… not promising.
