Photo Gallery: “Small Bites of Hope” Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Education Fundraiser
On Wednesday, May 9th, Chefs Brian Tsao and Chris Santos came together at Vandal in New York City to host Small Bites of Hope, an event to break the silence and support proactive suicide prevention and mental health education.
Hosted by Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed) and Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), the Second Annual Small Bites of Hope fundraiser paired Tsao with Santos to deliver their staple menu of street food small-bite hors-d’oeuvres and signature cocktails.
100% of the proceeds were donated directly to Hope for the Day, a non-profit organization that focuses on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education. The event was sponsored by Revolver, Jackson Guitars, Metal Blade Records, Black Light Media, Dark Matter Coffee, Artist Flahs and Nightowl Studios.
Check out some photos from the event below, including some with the notable metal celebs in attendance: the aforementioned Jasta and Leach, Howard Jones (Light the Torch, ex-Killswitch Engage), Dave Davidson (Revocation) and more.
