Tetelestai’s New Video for “The Dead We Do Not Mourn” Features Sean Ingram of Coalesce

If you grew up in the hardcore and/or metal scenes in the late ’90s and early-mid ’00s there’s a damn good chance Coalesce were a very important band to you. Even so, unless you’ve seen the band live there’s a good chance you have no idea what vocalist Sean Ingram looks like — he has never appeared in a music video.

Until now! Not only did Omaha, NE band Tetelestai convince Ingram to come out of retirement to perform guest vocals on one track off their debut 7″, but they roped him into making his first ever music video appearance too! That Ingram was willing to lend his voice to “The Dead We Do Not Mourn” shouldn’t be too surprising; not only are Tetelestai an excellent band, but fans of Coalesce will immediately hear elements of the latter’s sound in Tetelestai. The buzzsaw bass, the pounding beat, the dissonant chords, those gruff, distorted vocals… ahhh yeah, there he is! Sounding as raw and powerful as ever, and a perfect complement to this band.
