Korn Have Plans for Plans
When asked, during a recent interview, about Korn’s future tour itinerary, guitarist Brian “Head” Welch revealed that “We’ve got some plans to resurrect some cool tour plans next year, 2019.” For such a short sentence, that sure does give us a whole lot to unpack. Let’s review:
- Next year will be 2019.
- Korn have plans to resurrect plans.
- The latter plans have something to do with touring.
This has led some to speculate that Korn could be bringing back their famed Family Values tour (if you don’t remember the Family Values tour, it was like Summer Slaughter for people who were dropped on their heads as babies). And while I understand why folks might come to this conclusion, I’d suggest they re-read Welch’s statement again more carefully:
“We’ve got some plans to resurrect some cool tour plans next year, 2019.”
Yes, that’s right: Korn will bring back the Cool Tour! You heard it here first, folks. Put money on it. It’s a guaranteed payout.
