Slayer’s Farewell Tour: Opening Night Setlist Revealed
Before we begin, let me just say that if you’re the kind of person who likes going to a show and having no idea what the band is gonna play (other than the obvious ‘hits’ or whatever), then you shouldn’t be reading this. That goes without saying, I’d think. I don’t know why you even clicked on the post. Thanks for the traffic. Now scram.
Everyone else: Slayer kicked off their farewell tour last night, and loudersound.com has revealed the setlist. We obviously don’t know if the band will play the same setlist every night, but it’s a safe bet that this represents at least kinda-sorta what you’ll be getting when you go to the gig. It’s a pretty reasonable overview of the band’s career. Although playing two Repentless tracks and is bonkers. If they wanna do something newer, at least make it another World Painted Blood track. “Psychopathy Red” is the last great Slayer song, that oughta be in here over “When the Blah Blooh Blee.”
