The Six Most Metal Breweries Brings Together Two of Life’s Greatest Pleasures
If you’re reading this, I’ll assume you use metal and beer both to help numb the pain of your meaningless existence. Hey, I can relate. That’s why I think you’ll be excited to learn about The Six Most Metal Breweries, an in-development television series which will “tour cross country to the six most hardcore breweries expressing themselves like rock stars, pairing craft beer with heavy metal today.”
Sounds great, right? Well, here’s the bittersweet news: the pilot episode for the series, which will include Kings County Brewers Collective in Brooklyn and the launch of a custom beer at the famed Saint Vitus Bar, is currently being shopped around, which means you can’t see it yet. Bummer, I know.
BUT… you can watch Metal Monday (yes, even though today is Wednesday), the Six Most Metal Breweries team’s ongoing web series, which they say you should think of “as an EP or singles leading up to a full album.” As of this writing, they’re two webisodes deep on that endeavor. The first one features Zach Coleman, drummer for Khemmis and head brewer at the Trve Brewing Company, as well as Decibel‘s Albert Mudrian discussing the Decibel Metal and Beer Fest; the second one focuses on the metal spin class available at Monster Cycle. Both episodes are available for your viewing pleasure below; be sure to subscribe to The Six Most Metal Breweries on YouTube to keep up with future installments. Fingers crossed, we can all get hammered and watch the series premiere on TV real soon…
