Here’s Zakk Wylde Covering “Beauty and the Beast”

It seems a bit odd that Disney, a company which has banned the likes of Every Time I Die, Exmortus and Machine Head from playing its venues, would be venturing into the metal world with an album of classic Disney tunes covered by some of the genre’s notables.

But that’s exactly what’s happening: Disney just released an album called Disney Super Guitar, a collection of instrumental covers of songs like “When You Wish Upon a Star,” “Under the Sea” and “A Whole New World” by some well-known guitar shredders.

The album’s lead single (if you can call it that) is a cover of “Beauty and the Beast” performed by Zakk Wylde. It sounds… very Zakk Wylde-y.
