Exclusive Track + Video Premiere: “Wreck Election Day” by FAUS
Mathcore fans, rejoice — the next great boundry-pushing metal band is here! FAUS, from Spokane, WA, describe their music as “heavy tech punk,” which is really just a more elegant way of saying “Yeah, they’ve opened for The Dillinger Escape Plan.” The band’s forthcoming third album, Apestate, very much picks up where DEP left off when they called it quits last year, expertly utilizing angular, stabbing riffs, epileptic drums, and the hardest of hardcore vocals for barely-controlled aural chaos. It’s exhilarating and challenging and everything fans of bands like DEP and Norma Jean could want.
MetalSucks is proud to present the first single from Apestate, “Wreck Election Day,” via the below video! The clip was filmed by Connor Bacon and Riker Morrow and edited by Bacon. Once you’ve fallen in love with the song, go here to pre-order Apestate in advance of its May 4 release on Blackhouse Records. You’ll be glad you did!
